How to Contact SummerWare
If you would like to order a tea cosy or any item from SummerWare,
or
discuss having me decorate your
own items, please contact me by telephone
at 024 7654 2596 (UK). We're home most of
the time, so please feel free to ring. You can leave a message on
our answering machine, just be sure to say your phone number loudly and
clearly, and i'll get back to you soon. You can also email me at
Summer@SummerWare.co.uk.
Payment may be made by cheque, bank draft,
postal order, or Paypal. If ordering a tea cosy, see the information on
the tea cosy page about p&p charges. Cheques must be made out to
SUMMER JOY. Please email or ring me for the postal address
for ordering.
For tea cosy orders, be sure to include a note about which cosy
you'd like, and print
your name and address clearly.
Special Note:
Items you'd like to have decorated
must be clean and in good condition.
I'm a decorator, not a renovator!

Please note:
- SummerWare has the right not to accept any order at our
discretion..
- If we do not supply an item that has been ordered we will not
charge and we will refund any monies already paid.
- SummerWare will not compensate you for any other loss you may
suffer if we do not supply goods.
- If we accept an order it will be confirmed in writing either by
post or by email after availability of your chosen item is confirmed,
except in the case of cards which will be sent promptly by post upon
receipt of order and payment.
- Only when you have received this confirmation has a binding
contract been entered into under these terms and conditions.
- The price of any available item will be as quoted on the website
at the time of ordering, or as quoted during correspondence where
orders not featured on the website are concerned. In the case of your
own item being sent for painting and decoration, only a rough estimate
can be given until we have viewed the item, which must be sent in sound
and paintable condition. SummerWare does not do repair and renovation
work. After viewing the item and considering what type of artwork you
would like on it, a more accurate quote can be given, but this may be
liable to change if the work time is considerably more than predicted.
- Prices quoted for items do not include postage or shipping,
packaging and insurance. These costs are to be borne by the purchaser.
- Smaller items will be sent by parcel post with insurance
coverage, or by special delivery if requested. Larger items will be
shipped by courier, and sent with insurance coverage.
- Customers sending larger items for decoration can arrange for the
return of the item by the same means of transport.
- All items are supplied subject to availability and no guarantees
of delivery times can be given. An estimate of shipping date will be
given at the time of ordering, and you will be sent confirmation that
the item has been sent on the date it leaves our premises.
Delivery
- All shipping dates are quoted in good faith. In the event that an
item can not be sent off within 14 days of estimated shipping date we
will contact you. At this stage you have the right to withdraw from the
contract.
- As soon as you have taken delivery of the item you are
responsible for it.
- All items will be insured during transport from us. The customer
is responsible for insurance coverage when sending items to us.
SummerWare is not responsible for any damage to items during shipping
either to or from us.
- Delivery is deemed to have taken place when the item is
delivered to an address nominated by you.
- You only own the item after full payment has been received by
us. Items can not be held with deposits or partial payments.
- If upon receipt you are not pleased with the item, you may
return it to SummerWare with a full refund. However, responsibility for
the cost of returning the item shall rest with you, and all goods must
be returned in original condition, with original packaging and with
insurance coverage.
- If the item is delivered in a damaged condition you must inform
us and the insurers immediately. All liability for damaged goods
expires 7 days after their receipt.
